Contemporary Art Show 2009 l Johore Bahru

Salam.. 
Alhamdulillah, lepas lapor diri 16 Mac di Putrajaya, bos baru di Putrajaya bagi pelepasan untuk tangguh penempatan di Putrajaya hingga 4 Mei 2009. So dapat lagi la aku berkhidmat untuk negeri Johor ni. Semalam petang jalan-jalan kat Danga City Mall, JB. Ada Iskandar Malaysia Contemporary Art Show di tingkat 4 shopping kompleks tu.
First time tengok art show ni. Menarik gak sebab aku sebenarnya minat semua benda berkaitan seni ni.. tak kira la teater ke, movie ke, gambar ke..sebab aku rasa aku ni memang dilahirkan sebagai artis la..oh tedaaa 
| Quote: | KUALA LUMPUR: Johor is set to become the new capital of contemporary art when one of the largest art exhibitions ‘Iskandar Malaysia Contemporary Art Show’ (IMCAS) opens on March 14 in Danga City Mall.
IMCAS organising chairman Farok Khan Mohamed said the exhibition would feature masterpieces of Malaysian artists.
“The three month exhibition is to promote art awareness in Johor and to indicate the kind of changes that the Iskandar development region is bringing to Johor,” he added during a press conference at the National Art Gallery recently.
Farouk said IMCAS was an art fair where more than 100 young artists would be showcasing their their artworks, which would be up for sale.

“During the exhibition, there will also be a fully-funded three-month residency programme for six or 12 outstanding young artists, with a road-show to promote their works,” said Farouk said.
Farouk said that in conjunction with the IMCAS, an open category art competition would also take place to unearth new talents.
The competition offers cash prizes of RM17,000 in total and the judging will be done by a panel of distinguished artists.
National Art Gallery director-general Prof Madya Dr Mohamed Najib Ahmad Dawa who was also present said the art exhibition was the biggest assemble of contemporary art in the country. |

Kerjaya vs Keluarga..

Last week dapat surat transfer ke Putrajaya. Ini kali ke-6 aku bertukar opis sejak kerja gomen ni. Dulu mula-mula dapat keje gomen, report duty di Ibu Pejabat JAS di Wisma Sime Darby, KL. 2 tahun lepas tu kena pindah ke Putrajaya. Lepas setahun lebih di Putrajaya, pindah ke Kuching Sarawak. Lepas 6 bulan di Kuching, pindah pulak ke Sibu Sarawak. Lepas 4 tahun di Sibu, pindah ke Johor..

Kat Johor ni paling best sebab selalu dapat balik kampung kat Kota Tinggi dan Muar. Dapat la jenguk orang tua selalu. Bertemu jodoh pun kat sini. Sekarang wife dah pregnant 8 bulan. Due date hujung bulan April ni. Tiba-tiba dapat pulok surat transfer ke Putrajaya. Risau nak tinggal wife n baby yang bakal lahir..Tapi alhamdulillah lah sebab dapat offer naik pangkat, walaupun memangku je...rezeki baby agaknya..
 
Hari isnin depan, 16 Mac start lapor diri di Putrajaya...hope everything will be fine

The Persada Johor International Convention Centre’s (JICC) design concepts was adopted to reflect historical elements of Johor as well as modern features with dominant qualities such as strength, integrity and functionality.
Developed and owned by Johor Corporation, The Persada Johor International Convention Centre is situated in the very heart of Johor Bahru, the capital of Johor.
The site on which it stands was the former Johor Military force camp, and it was also the site of early remnants of Johor Bahru city.
The meaning of "Persada"
“Persada” is a word derived from the Malay language which means a place that has layers or steps for a member of the royalty to sit and conduct official matters; a stage where a contest is conducted; a garden for pleasure or to rest.
The centre will be hosting various trade and consumer shows, meeting, banquets, weddings and other special events.

Majlis bersanding Asmah dan Fadzli diadakan pada 08 Mac 2009 di rumah pengantin perempuan..Cuaca begitu baik sekali dan aturcara majlis berjalan lancar. Pengantin happy.Bapak,mak pengantin happy. Kawan-kawan happy. Semua happy..gud!!

Majlis akad nikah Asmah dan pasangannya, Fadzli (orang Pahang) diadakan selepas asar di Masjid Kg Murni Jaya, Layang-Layang pada 07 Mac 2009. Di sebelah malamnya ada majlis berzanji dan berinai..Asmah ni fotogenik orangnya, senang nak ambik gambar..

Hari Landskap Negara, Hutan Bandar Mutiara Rini, MPJBT
|
|
Sambutan Hari Lanskap Negara 2009 dan Festival Taman Malaysia Johor 2009 dirasmikan oleh Isteri Perdana Menteri, Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah di Hutyan Bandar, Taman Mutiara Rini, Skudai. Penganjuran majlis berkenaan oleh Majlis Perbandaran Johor Bahru Tengah (MPJBT) adalah untuk memberi peluang kepada para penggemar seni hiasan taman dan landskap menimba ilmu mengenai seni tersebut.Selain itu, pelbagai aktiviti menarik berlangsung sepanjang program tersebut termasuk klinik landskap, pertandingan paintball dan pameran motosikal berkuasa tinggi dari Jepun.
Turut disediakan juga adalah persembahan kebudayaan dan pelbagai pertandingan, antaranya pertandingan gubahan bunga, mencari harta karun dan karaoke..

Festival Layang-Layang Antarabangsa Pasir Gudang l 22 Feb. 2009

The Pasir Gudang International Kites festival is one of the prestigious event listed in Malaysia Tourism calendar. It is organized by Johor Corporation through Pasir Gudang Municipal Council (MPPG) and Johor State Goverment through Johor Tourism Action Council with the support of Ministry of Tourism Malaysia¸ Ministry of Culture¸ Art and Heritage Malaysia¸ Ministry of Education Malaysia¸ Malaysia Kite Council and Johor Kite Association. The Festival promises thrill and fun–filled time with its showcase of kites creatively put together by internationals from all over the world and local kiters participating in various categories as well as exhibitions¸ workshop and Malaysia´s Own Multicultural Performances.
